These days so many people are search for cheap DSLR deals. Everyone want to have a DSLR camera believe it is the only way to take great photos. But not everyone really need a DSLR camera. Also if you are looking for a camera like these then you need to have big budget at least $1000. Yes you will able to find a DSLR camera for even around $400 but there are other camera accessories you will need. For example you need lenses if you have bought body only and a kit lens cost you at least $200 if you are looking for a good one. Then you need a camera bag and also a tripod and a flash. These are just the basic accessories there are more items you need like memory cards, filters etc.

First you need to see if you really want a DSLR camera. If you want a camera which can do more than a simple point and shoot but you can't spend $1000 for that then you can try a bridge camera like Canon Powershot SX50 HS camera. This camera cost you around $350-$400 and it has a really good inbuilt lens which is equivalent to 1200mm telephoto lens. It's a great camera for out door photos and wild life photos. So this might be a great choice for you if you just need a camera with good photo quality but low price. But again these bridge cameras are not for indoor photos or sports. for those you might need a DSLR with fast lens. Now that means $1000 budget.

Also if you want a DLSR level quality camera but smaller in size and you are willing to pay a good price then these are really good point and shoot cameras these days. Two very good examples are Canon EOS M Camera and Nikon CoolPix A camera. These cameras comes with high-end fast sensors but every compact in size. Canon EOS M camera even can use interchangeable lenses. But downside is these cameras are expensive.Cost you around $800 - $1000.

So because start looking for a camera you need to decide what is your budget and what really you plan do to with your camera. If you want a camera for weddings or sports then you better go for a DSLR camera with a good lens and high power flash. If you need a camera with DSLR like quality but lower price then go for a bridge camera.Your budget plays a big part in this. There are thousands of cameras out there and all what matters is how much you are willing to spend.

Also buying and old use DSLR is not really a great choice. Technology chances and upgrades very fast these days even if it's cheap DSLR camera you don't want to get stuck with a outdated camera. So it's better save money and buy a new DSLR rather than buying an old used one. You might have to pay few more dollars but it will worth it.
